How to Install Fluxuan Linux

First thing first !

Download Fluxuan-Linux -> https://fluxuan.org/download-fluxuan

you can write it on a USB disk with :

ON LINUX ->

sudo dd if=Image.iso of=/dev/USB-drive conv=fsync status=progress

Then plug it in turn your machine on , you may need to select the boot device when machine starts.

you will be greated by Fluxuan`s Live boot start Page

YOU can Hit ENTER with the default selected menu item and wait to boot up into your live Desktop.

Now you can click on Install , a Terminal windows with the Installer`s Welcome Screen will start.

You may continue by hitting ENTER

Here just use BACKSPACE to delete all or modify what is already in with one of your drives that are listed Above the Typing Line EX: sda and hit ENTER

Select your install type BIOS or EFI / most cases bios and is already there so you can hit ENTER

Using UP or DOWN arrow keys select you partitioning method / sugested is first method so you can hit ENTER

After Partitions are created the System is being loaded onto your Drive.

Enter The Hostname you prefer and Hit ENTER

Using arrows UP and DOWN choose your area and hit ENTER

Choose City so that Time and Date to be SET and hit ENTER

Choose your Language by selecting it with SPACE BAR and hit ENTER when Done

Select what is needed for you Locale settings and hit ENTER

Configure your Keyboard use ARROWS and ENTER

Type your desired ROOT password and hit ENTER

Type desired Username and hit ENTER

Type your desired password for Username and hit ENTER

Installation Completed screen -> hit ENTER

You may now right click on Desktop or click on the corner left on Menu Button select EXIT and Reboot into your new installed Fluxuan-Linux!
DON`T FORGET to REMOVE USB DISK from your MACHINE !

Hit ENTER or wait for Grub to load your Fluxuan-LinuX

Type username hit ENTER followed by password and hit ENTER to login.

CONGRATULATIONS FLUXUAN DAEDALUS IS NOW INSTALLED!!

Failed to install. After selecting the disk, the installation turns off smile
The entire installation method described above does not work for me:
-- writing a flash drive via dd - no
-- installation on the entire disk sda - no, I don’t have enough knowledge to guess how a simple “installation on the entire disk” will end, I already have 3 OS installed there, but I tried the options sda6, 0.
I checked the checksums. sad

Is it possible, using commands (script), to install directly from ISO, without a flash drive, on a specific disk while in another OS or in live mode, with the standard username "fluxuan" or "fl" and the standard password 112233?

Не всё так просто...
После выбора пункта №4 - скрипт выключается. На этом же этапе выключается и стандартная установка. Странное совпадение, записываю новую флешку.
Not so simple...
After selecting item No. 4, the script is turned off. At the same stage, the standard installation is also turned off. Strange coincidence, I'm recording a new flash drive.
Launching the second flash drive, everything repeated, the script is turned on.

Working to build a installer to include a partition install , it will take a few more days due to testing before .

Here you are !

wget https://fluxuan.org/installer
sudo bash installer

password -> fluxuan

menu choose option 4
insert sda6 -> your desired partition to install
partition will be made bootable then fluxuan will be installed change language etc. etc. grub will be installed on that partition and os-prober will update your multi os system
Installer will use apt to download os-prober if you do not have it installed , but you probably do.
at reboot you should see fluxuan

After selecting the sda6 disk, I click OK and the installer turns off again. In the terminal : Partition doesn't exist. The partition is formatted as ext4, but not mounted.
After I mounted the sda6 disk and ran the installation again, the answer was still the same. Partition doesn't exist.
